The waffle bet. From breakfast table to closet.
Stackdrip bets the label on one food. Four waffle styles rotate, one illustrator draws each run, every drop prints IRL. Small by design — and that's the whole pitch.
The small-drop model.
Roughly 200 units per drop. No restocks, no second print run — every run is IRL-printed and photographed the same week it ships. Sold out once is sold out forever.
Belgian. Iron grid, butter-glaze.
The rectangle that runs through every breakfast spread — shallow squares, a thin crust, the crisp that snaps when you tear it.
Brussels. Brioche-light, deep pocket.
Yeasted, lighter than you expect, with a pocket deep enough to hold a ladle. The drop that wears the badge off the chest.
Buttermilk. Tang first, sugar later.
Soured overnight, griddled low and slow. The one that ships heavy on a Friday and goes first off the rack.
Liégeois. Pearl sugar, iron-grid.
Caramelised crunch on the way out, brioche on the way in. The first Drop — the one that put Stackdrip on the press.
Each waffle rotates on its own schedule. Nothing waits for the others. The Liégeois sold out first; the Brussels runs hottest on hoodies; the buttermilk tee flies the second it lands. One drop ends, the next one takes the press — there is no warehouse, no backlog, no second print.
One illustrator. One drop.
Each seasonal drop ships with one illustrator's hand-set wordmark, silkscreened IRL. Paid commission, credited on every inside tag and on the run sheet pinned to the studio wall.
Stackdrip brings in one illustrator per drop — never the same voice twice in a row while a style is in rotation. The brief hands over the waffle, the drop number, and a tight typography constraint; the artist brings the wordmark, the back-print, the care-tag artwork.
Files land hand-set, sent to screen prep off the studio table, and pressed IRL before the drop opens. Every illustrator is paid a flat commission plus a percentage of the run — credit lives on the inside tag and on the hand-off sheet that ships with the studio photos.
Next up on Drop 02 — illustrator credited when the run hits the press. The first drop was drawn in-house so the wordmark had a foothold; from here on out, every run carries someone else's hand.
